Im getting a launch-time error, “No pioneer avr detected, you will be able to manually configure the application in a future release”.
This occurs every time i launch the app.
Alltho i get a system tray icon for the app, and when i manually open it (show interface), i get the current status of my AVR (vsx-921). (correct volume (in %) and input).
When i click on the buttons in the inteface (vol +/-), the display on my avr changes momentarily, but nothing does change, since i cannot close the error dialog mentioned above, and the app doesnt allow other button presses exept for the error dialog OK button.
Current system is win 7 with almost all system updates (excluded the win10 upgrade spamming service).
The avr remote is v 0.02
please let me know if there are logs you want or troubleshooting steps for me to further enlighten the issue!
And thank you kindly for your time and effort in creating these apps for us internetters!23rd February 2017 at 10:29 am #6376
Not sure if you still are interested in this program but it was never very stable and i decided not to continue it due to time and bugs.23rd February 2017 at 3:51 pm #6379
I kind of feel that the AVR volume app does everything i need and more, so i havent even bothered with the avr remote since i posted that bug-report.. 🙂
And that was before i started using the avr volume, had i started with that i would probably never had tried the avr remote in the first place..
So if i were you i would remove that app from the website and focus purely on the avr volume app. 🙂
But im not you, so follow your own heart! 🙂23rd February 2017 at 4:11 pm #6382
Thanks for the reply, sorry again for the super late delay in initially responding, i’m a single person and managing all this can be hard sometimes, hopefully the notification bugs have been fully solved now.
I wouldn’t mind creating this program, but i haven’t got the time to recode it and tbh the current code is terrible, i will add features to VSX Volume instead, there are also already Windows 8/10 apps for controlling the AVR the same sort of way as this program but they aren’t free.
